My full name is Jenna Treadwell and I have been teaching here at Handley Middle School for going on 6 years. I taught 4th grade science for 3 years, 4th grade social studies and science for 2 years, and now I'm currently teaching 4th grade Language Arts. I have learned a lot over these 6 years; most importantly I've learned how much I love my job and the children I teach.
I have been married going on 4 years now to Blake Treadwell. He is also a teacher in our school system. He teaches 10th grade physical science and other science and social studies electives. We have two twin boys, Acton Ryan and Ian Daniel. They were born last year in February, 6 weeks early. This started an adventure for our family like no other. We spent 4 weeks at UAB hospital. We truly wouldn't be where we are today without the support we received from our school and community.
Our boys are perfectly healthy today, many say you wouldn't even know they were premature.
