Students, for several days we have been talking about Fables in class. Part of your assignment is to follow the guidelines we have gone over in class to write your own fable. To help you, I have created a document for you to use as you write your own story.
Please post any questions you have in the comments section below, and feel free to reply to your classmates' questions if you think you can help them.
-Mrs. Treadwell
Mrs. Treadwell, I have finished writing my fable but I don't know what to do for the moral of the story.
ReplyDeleteHalie, that is a good question. The moral of the fable is the lesson that the story teaches. Here is a list of moral's from other fables to help you get an idea of a moral for your own fable:
Delete- Honesty is the best policy
- Do not count your chickens before they hatch
- United we stand, divided we fall
- Slow and steady wins the race
- Quality is better than quantity
